A word from the President
We are very happy to welcome you to our site. Browsing through the pages, you will notice our university is young and yet full of ambition. Our highly motivated research professors, administrative and technical staff are always ready to provide you with the best possible research working conditions.
Today we have a student population of over 11 000 students on our four campuses : Boulogne-sur-Mer, Calais, Dunkerque and Saint-Omer. This multi-site campus offers all students access to top quality teaching facilities. It also offers a more intimate size in the various sections allowing teaching staff to better help and advise you throughout your university course.
We offer degree and masters diplomas in 4 different sections : Business and Management Science, Science and Technology, Arts, Human and Social Sciences, Law. You have the opportunity of tailoring the courses to suit your needs and the ECTS (credit transfer and accumulation system) opens up a wide range of opportunities for exchanges with our foreign partnership universities.
At the same time, we continue our commitment in the field of Research. A hotbed of quality teaching is one of our major assets : 16 laboratories and 350 university research lecturers are working on research themes that the Université du Littoral Côte d'Opale selected as top priorities to support regional development, namely "the Environment", "Man, Companies and Coastal Areas " and "Mathematics and Sciences for the Engineer". The work of our researchers – and you could well become one of them, stand out thanks to their quality and pertinence.Their publications, organizing or participating in conferences and seminars have earned them worldwide recognition and renown.
