You arrived in France at the beginning of the 2019/2020 academic year with a Long Stay Visa equivalent to a Residence Permit (VLS-TS), “Student” status. This will expire in the next few weeks. If you have not already done so, we strongly invite you to check this expiry date.
We remind you that you must renew it BEFORE it expires.
You will find below all the practical information depending on the housing department (Nord or Pas de Calais). We invite you to read them in their entirety :
- VLS-TS extension procedure Nord Department 59
- VLS-TS extension procedure Pas de Calais department 62
- Déclaration de domicile
As a reminder :
Visas / residence permits / receipts which expire between 16 March and 15 June 2020 are automatically extended by six months.
There is no need to take any steps.
No documents will be issued for users whose permits are extended until their new expiry date.
These steps must be taken from France.
If you are in France but in a department other than Nord or Pas de Calais, you must contact the Prefecture / Sub-Prefecture of your current place of residence.
